Since being introduced to straw thread two years ago, I have been passionate and driven to champion straw embroidery as an exquisite, sustainable ‘natural gold’.

Exploring the historical uses of straw in embroidery dating back centuries, I am on a mission to revive endangered craft skills, tools and knowledge of working with natural, seemingly humble materials and carry this sustainable, magical art form into the 21st century.
